I vent to visit a burmese refugee camp north of Mae Sot on the border between Thailand and Burma.

When I arrived to the refugee camp I saw thousands of bamboo huts in the vally and on the mountainside.

The refugee camp housed about 50.000 people with different religious background. I walked along the barbed wire and talked with the refugees.

They was very friendly and accommodating, but what surpriced me was, that the burmese woman spoked a very good English.

I see the burmese woman as a very strong independented woman and after Aung San Suu Kyi are elected to the Parlament, they will have the opportunity to be a huge power for the future of Burma. (Myanmar)
